Back in 1993 I experienced a mighty touch of God when I visited a meeting in Louisville, KY being held by Evangelist Rodney Howard-Browne. At that time I came to understand what real revival is: a coming back to life. I had no idea that I had become so spiritually dry and religious until I came into the most incredible presence of the Lord. I knew that it was God’s presence because of the extreme peace, love, and joy that filled the place and consequently filled me.Ever since that time I have been “on fire” for God and have never gone back to the dead ways of religion. To me religion is knowing and even preaching about the power of God but never demonstrating it (because you have no clue how to). Religion is the game that is played in so many churches around the world every time they have a service. It’s trying to do the supernatural with a natural mindset.Anyway I’ve been so set free from that! Recently, Rodney Howard-Browne, who has a powerful website at revival.com, was back in Louisville bringing a fresh wave of what God’s wanting to do in America with the Great Awakening Tour. The meetings emphasize taking the Gospel out of the four walls of the church and onto the streets and into people’s homes. It’s so incredibly amazing the harvest of lives that are coming into the Body of Christ.

Revival is spreading with the Great Awakening Tours. I also used to think that God could only move inside of the church. I too was full of religion and tradition and put restrictions on God to ever be able to see God’s real power and demonstrations.
Hundreds respond to go soul winning on the streets and in the Retirement Homes. Many of these people have never led anyone to the lord and they get so excited when they start winning soul after soul. They get on fire and they keep winning souls. They use this great tool called The Gospel Soul Winning Script.

I also visited the church in July 2007 for Summer Camp meeting. The Fire of God was moving across the entire church and it was wonderful. What a blessing!

It truly is amazing to see the power of God touching people. After watching a few services from the comfort of my own home, I just HAD to experience it for myself in person! The fire of God was burning that place up! Seeing people weep and get filled with the joy of the Lord brought tears to my eyes! I rededicated my life to the Lord and I’ve never been the same since!

I checked out the webpage. Wow! Over 12,000 decisions for Christ! Sounds like a continuation of the Book of Acts. People going to the streets and compelling the lost to come in!

I looked at the pictures of this amazing event. What a powerful move of God! It is so refreshing to see the Holy Spirit moving and changing lives. We serve a living God who loves beyond our comprehension.

I shared with my Grandmother (97 yrs old) what was happening in the revival services and she said it sounded like what she experienced in revival when she was first born again in the early 1900s! She was so excited to hear reports of what God is doing today!

I have watched God Tv and revival and i have felt the presence of God thru them both. I would recommend to anyone to watch one of these programs. These programs of The Great Awakening Tours and the services and The River at Tampa Bay are life changing events.

I know what you mean when you say that you cannot go back to that “dead religion”. Once you’ve tasted of revival, you can never go back. Every time that I am in one of meetings, I get stirred up even more for the things of God. It’s awesome.

I had been through almost five years of different ministry schools or programs and had become well aquainted with the “practical” side of ministry. Like how to do it, etc. But I had never understould that I could have a relationship with the Holy Spirit and that Revival was not just something that happened in or to a church but in a person’s life, and that through that person’s life revival could spread through the nations of the world.
While I was in Bible School at the River Bible Institute, I was sitting on the front row. We were in a time of praise and worship and I was pressing in harder than ever, because up to that point I had been in a number of Rodney Howard-Browne’s meetings and I had seen so many people totally smacked by the Holy Ghost. I really wanted that!.
So this day I was going for it, and while I was worshiping I saw in the spirit, but it was like they were right in front of me, two guys/angels, and they were holding a giant multi-colored bucket, one on each side, and they were acting as if they were tossing whatever was in that bucket all over the crowd. Everytime they did this I could literally feel the presence and the fire of God come all over me, I started to cry and laugh uncontrollably, and so were they. Every time they splashed us they laughed harder and harder.
That day I was introduced to the tangible presence and fire of the Holy Ghost. My life has never been the same. I am so thankful that God has raised Up the River At Tampa Bay Church for such a time as this.

that is so true, when I first attended a meeting in Tampa, FL it changed my life forever. I was saved and loved God, but I knew there was much more. I knew God wanted to use me to do great things for Him. Revival is a change that takes place in your heart towards God. Whenever I can get online i go to can watch videos, see pics, and what’s happening around america in the Great Awakening Tour.

WOW, WOW Thats all I can say about the revival meetings. I got so touched by the fire nobody knows me anymore. Now I sleep, drink, and eat the things of God. I can’t get enough. It’s like a sea food diet instead I’m on a see God diet. It’s a good thing God doesn’t get tired of my company.
