My family was very excited to follow God’s lead and move from Canada to Tampa.  We sold and gave away everything so my husband and I could attend RBI.  The enemy came against us from the very beginning of making our decision.  Both family and friends disapproved and several expenses came up all at once which drained all our financial resources.  The night before we were to leave, we knew we didn’t even have enough for the drive down.  We committed to trust in God and leave in the morning.  Just before we left, we were given a cash gift.  It was not enough, but we trusted in God to provide the rest, so we left anyways.  We were given another cash gift while on route, it was enough to get us here.

During the first couple of days of RBI, feelings of rejection and failure resurfaced from my high school years and I wanted to run away.  I realized that this was an attack and I took authority over it.

The second week of RBI we were told that our son was not going to be allowed in the educational program that we had been expecting.  This created a large obstacle and I faced the possibility that I would have to drop out to be able to care for him.  We set out to find a school or day program which would take him, even though we had no money to pay for it.  It seemed we were being turned away from every program we approached.  On the Wednesday night of The Great Awakening, Pastor Eric preached on facing and conquering your giants.  I vowed to not give up on what God was calling me to do and felt peace about the situation.  Finally on Friday afternoon we found a Christian school who decided to take him for free!

Now in week three we have taken hold of the sowing and reaping principle, although we are tithers, we had never been taught this way.  We are very excited about what the Lord has in store for us!….Jessica C.

Before I left Oklahoma for RBI, people where asking why I was going. From my pastor and the worship leader at the my church to friends and coworkers. People questioned why I was going to school when I was already playing, singing, and leading worship at my church. Why was I leaving a great job? a great church? Why was I going so far to attend this particular school? There were lots of other schools I could have attended. At the time, my only answer was that God was leading me to attend RBI. Now, I know that God has brought me to RBI to get absolutely on fire for Him and Him alone.

The first week of classes I felt the Lord leading me to attend Momentum on Wednesday night. I went and I was so abundantly blessed beyond what I could have expected. The power of God fell in that service and I was on the floor for an extended period of time. While I lay there, God began to show me a glimpse of the things He has for me. I just wept. And I heard the Lord telling me “this is your training ground.”

As I sat down to write this essay, I struggled to assess and express the deep work that God has initiated and furthered in my heart since coming to RBI. God led me to RBI for an intense period of soaking in the anointing in order to light a burning fire in me that will blaze with a passion for the lost. I know this exciting process has begun and I look forward to the journey and outcome.

I must say that the past few weeks have been amazing! I am a first year Bible student from Massachusetts, and I feel very privileged to be here. Since RBI Revival started GOD has done a tremendous work in my heart. Well in my life period. But I have to tell you about my heart. About two weeks ago the Lord touched me and what I felt going through my body was uncontrollable. It made me jump right out my seat I was stomping and dancing  in  praise and well I don’t remember what I was saying but I fell straight to the ground it was like I was the plug  that got plugged into the socket and then pulled right out. My body went numb, limp. I could hear Pastor Todd preaching and everyone else in the sanctuary but my body could not move.

The anointing was all over and in me I could feel it. Never felt anything like it in my life. I definitely was on GOD’s ‘’ operating table ‘’. My heart started feeling like it was being massage and squeezed , rearranged  almost like it was even being shaked. Knots were being unknotted and the junk was being shaked out. Any kind of bitterness I had left in my heart taken out. Certain cold spots in my heart began to feel warm. Like  I  got warm liquid fill. All this is happening to me while I’m laying there on the carpet and I’m like wow this is really happening I really feel GOD  working in my heart. Ever since that night I have never been the same. I have a compassion  and  love towards people like never before. Which is a major thing for me thinking about where and what the LORD has delivered me from. I can say that I honestly have a greater love and stronger hunger for the things of GOD. I can say my faith has really been activated.

Well these past few weeks, since I have been here at RSW, have been bitter sweet. God has really been speaking to me and changing how I think. He has done quite a bit of pruning and it is not very pleasant during the process. However, I have felt His presence so strongly, like I haven’t in a while. My dad is a pastor so I have been taught right and raised under the anointing and the power and presence of God. But before I came here I was at a place of familiarity and comfort.

Well, at least I thought it was. But the whole time I was in that stage, I didn’t have peace. I was not living a holy lifestyle. I was in a relationship that wasn’t of God. I knew unless God got a hold of him that it wouldn’t last from the beginning. But of course that didn’t stop me from entering into it. So, I knew that when Virginia told me about the scholarship I had to come. Otherwise I would probably stay in the rut I was in forever. Honestly, this has been a very difficult time for me, but I am trusting in God completely.

I left, not only my fiance, but my well paying job and the life I had built in KY. But that is just it. It was the life I had built for myself, not the one that God has for me. So I am already learning to surrender it ALL to God. I am having to learn to trust Him with everything and stop trying to do everything myself. I feel free and clean and at peace with being here and being led into the destiny God has for me. It is painful right now, but I know God’s healing comes after His pruning. I can’t wait to see where God has taken me at the end of this year…..Julie C.

This Great Awakening that is happening in the nation has been really stirring me up for my family in a greater way. An Evangelist Sadi M. Pekerol shared Monday night the 18th of January about believing for his sister salvation she was going through a hard time in her life but she really never favored God because of religious traditions. He and his wife where holding a GAT in Randallstown , MD. He noticed a difference in her personality something strange cause of coarse he knows her traits and attitudes but he noticed she was nice and whatever.

So later that evening as sadi and his wife Karen where heading home his wife mention to Sadi that she lead her to the lord Sadi sister prayed a prayer of salvation with her know she is born-again, that has been a prayer of Sadi for years he had a nephew as well that received Jesus as his lord and savior he had a lifestyle of drugs and drinking all kinds of stuff but Jesus brought him out and is doing a wonderful work in his life from that point. So this really stirred up my faith for my family, a lot of my family been raised in church my dad side was raised catholic and later became Pentecostals so they’ve grown up in a religious setting but not living all for Christ and realizing who the are in Christ. God has started a work and he is the author and finisher of are faith my sister Patricia back in the

beginning of 2010 rededicated her life to the lord got filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized with water in full immersion. It has been awesome her household has been turned upside down with the gospel her 9yr old daughter is serving God filled with the spirit leading people to Jesus just a radical soul-winner for Christ, her husband and son-in-law are seeking God it’s been a process but God is faithful he watches over his word to perform it according to Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. It’s been absolutely powerful what God is doing. One of my older cousins Sandra has been impacted by the Gospel and the power of that Gospel now she in Bible School totally filled with the Holy Ghost and seeing countless people come into the kingdom of God. Want to share what God is doing in her life well she lives in very broken home her parents are separated in alcoholic lifestyles and totally backslidden from God.

God is revealing himself to her daughter she hasn’t been serving God cause she and her friends had a situation with there youth pastor that caused an offence to raise up in her heart that total hinder her from seeking God. So anyway she was watching The Great Awakening on television the power of God hit her she called the prayer-line and she received Jesus into her heart was ministered too God is doing a work in my family life a quick work. I believe God is not done yet there are countless more that need to hear this Good News and they will hear and then the end shall come. -Chris P

This week God used me in a really awesome way, I was working in the call center and after a few calls I really began to get stirred up, and for the first time someone was filled with the Holy Ghost, one person received the joy of the Lord, and two people were filled with the fire of God. The Lady who was filled was so precious she kept saying she did not feel anything but I could hear her speaking in tongues on the other end of the phone it was so exciting, and The Lady who got the joy called and was very upset and by the end of the call was laughing and said she felt so happy and loved, It was the coolest thing I have ever experienced,

The two who were filled with the fire said they felt warm inside and could feel the love of Go rushing over them I love being in the center of what God is doing. I can’t wait to see what he fully does and see everyone come to Christ. See I have two secular jobs and the people I work with are hopeless they see the bible as “just a book” a book of fiction as a matter a fact. I want the world to realize that Jesus is real and I believe what is happening here at The River is exactly what is going to open the eyes of people and I am so excited to be able to be a big part of it.   –Rebecca W.

 Since the beginning of the Great Awakening my wife and I have been plugged into several helps ministries. We are currently involved in housekeeping, call center, children’s church, security, and the nursery. I am not complaining, because of being plugged in here at the River the blessings have started to flow in our lives! People have began to bless us in various ways and we have also had doors of blessing begin to open up in our businesses!

It’s as if God is saying, “I reward faithfulness, be faithful!” I honestly can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t want to be involved in the helps ministries here at the River, take the call center for example, a lot of people claim they want to be in ministry but they won’t even go to the call center and minister. It has been awesome in the call center, the power of God has been flowing so strongly! People are getting healed, set free, baptized in the Holy Spirit and blessed, all the while God is using ordinary people as the conduit He flows through! Call center has been an awesome opportunity to allow God to use us, a way to train us how to effectually minister to others.

This training is invaluable to us, greater than any textbook training available. This training and the experience we are getting in just a short period of time (because of the Great Awakening), I would not trade for the world. Without nightly services and the opportunity to serve, it might take years to get this kind of experience. This is such an exciting time! It’s so awesome to be in a place where things are really moving, to be in a place with real people who have a real desire to see the world changed and impacted by Jesus and who actually back it up and do something about it! God is ready to and is demonstrating His love, power, and glory right now! The harvest of people is ripe, ready to be reaped! How exciting, what an honor and privilege it is to be apart of this and to live the one and only life found only in Jesus Christ!

Right now is the One Tribe Overland Missions Conference. It’s so great to be in a place surrounded by people who share the same burning desire and passion. To be in a place where everyone is unified and in one accord. God is burning the desire within me for the Lost all over the world! This is REAL!

God has a unique and individual plan for each and every one of our lives, and we can all work together as the Body of Christ with one goal and one commission: to lift up the name of Jesus in all the world and to bring in the harvest, to present every single person on the face of this earth with the gospel of Jesus Christ! Jesus works with us and back up His Word by the accompanying signs! (Mark 16:20) God sets our hearts on FIRE!

During this Great Awakening broadcasts on CTN, I’ve been able to plug in for maintenance, security, as well as the call center prayer line. There have been amazing testimonies coming in from around the world. I remember just yesterday, praying for a woman in South Carolina who got totally healed on the phones. I have never been used in that realm before and realized that it was all Him and no pressure was on myself to do anything. She felt all the pain leave her back and body and felt the fire of God coming in and healing her through the phone. Seeing the transferable anointing was amazing. I also was graced with the opportunity to pray for the fire of God for another lady in Wisconsin and she started crying and screaming. And another call I picked up, and they wanted to donate $5000 to a ministry of one of our speakers being interviewed. This month is another opportunity to keep my heart right. The enemy tried to get me down with offenses thrown at me. But I had to forgive and let them go and stay focused on the will and the call of God and the move of God that is taking place. The enemy even tried to have me focused on my own body with pains going on. But I have declared my healing and received it in Jesus’ name! I am really looking forward to all that God is going to do in the month of January, with the ministry and in America and the rest of the globe, as persons are being set ablaze to bring in the harvest of souls!!!-Tony C.
